Fly-fishing lodge opens

on Riviera Maya

GrandSlam Fly Fishing Lodge, a newly built property in Ascension Bay on Mexico's Riviera Maya, scheduled its grand opening for Nov. 15. The lodge is at the southern end of the Riviera Maya, on a narrow peninsula between the Caribbean and lagoons an hour south of Tulum, where the waters hold a variety of fish, including permit, bonefish, tarpon and snook.
